Abstract: This book is about the Eddystone lighthouse, which is swept away at the beginning of the book by a storm. This area was dangerous and another lighthouse was needed, so the book details the work that goes into building one on the treacherous coast. There are further stories of men trapped inside the lighthouse, as well as how the new lighthouse did once it was built.
